PEONY ROOTS
Jacorma
One Bare root 3/5-eye
Bred in the Netherlands, this pink double flowered peony really extends the late bloom season.
Seldom offered by U.S. growers, in many gardens it may be the last to flower.
The lovely medium pink petals of its blooms are held up very well on sturdy 32-inch stems.
Very resistant to leaf spotting that affects some peonies. It is very easy to grow.
Dr. Alexander Fleming
One Bare root 3/5-eye
Paeonia Dr Alexander Fleming is one of the most popular peony varieties in the world. That’s not so strange considering this peony is like the very popular Sarah Bernhardt. Because it is a cross between Sarah Bernhardt and Bunker Hill they share many characteristics.
The big difference lies in the color of Dr Alexander Fleming, which is two shades darker than Sarah Bernhardt. The two varieties are very complementary because of this color variation.
Paul M. Wild
One Bare root 3/5-eye
Opulent might be the best way to describe this big, bold ruby red double.
Huge, unfading blooms with velvety petals sit atop strong 36-inch stems dressed in healthy, deep green foliage.
This mid-season bloomer combines vigor and beauty in a way matched by a few other peonies. (Wild, 1964)
Madame Claude Tain
One Bare root 3/5-eye
Madame Claude Tain is a lush, white peony with large, full flowers and a sweet scent reminiscent of the lily of the valley.
This peony was bred in 1927 by the French breeder Doriat, who also bred the popular Odile a year later. Madame Claude Tain is considered by many connoisseurs to be the best white cut flower because of its full flowers and its white bud.
